It is hard to match the rich range of visual, astronomical, and emotional responses prompted by Griffith Observatory and difficult to document them, but Arnold Schwartzman has let his eye turn every corner of the building, follow the Observatory’s every line and curve, and absorb every image on behalf of this fetching book. He has caught the Observatory in one stunning architectural moment after another. He elegantly reminds us all how artfully Griffith Observatory connects us to the cosmos.
