Man Booker Prize Longlist

The Man Booker Prize for Fiction is a literary prize awarded each year for the best original novel written in the English language, and published in the UK. The prize is the world’s most important literary award and has the power to transform the fortunes of authors and publishers. This is the second year that the prize is open to American writers.
(I am very excited to see that my favorite book of the year, A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara, is on the list – Liz)

– The shortlist will be announced on Tuesday 15 September 2015
– The winner will be announced on Tuesday 13 October 2015.
